This is a forum for working fiction writers (published and unpublished) to discuss craft, business and writer's blather. Beginning writers are welcome and encouraged, but only if their emphasis is on doing the work of writing, rather than the imagined glory and fame of publication. As a core of the membership are published, discussions reflect the reality of the writing life. All genres and interests -- no politics. No false identities. Communication takes place through the Working Novelists mailing list. Novelist Fred Willard, author of Down on Ponce and Princess Naughty and the Voodoo Cadillac, is the list owner. Novelists Joshilyn Jackson and Jill Patrick serve as moderators.
